Photograph your children and pets with confidence as you capture the simple moments of every day life. Using the daily activities of your pets and children, these online classes will cover both the technical and creative side of photography. Lisa will guide you through a practice workflow for each class so your images continue to improve each time you pick up your camera.

Want to take all six classes and save? You will receive all six classes for $300. Can't attend? A few days after the class, you will receive a recording from the class to listen to at your leisure. Recorded classes will be available for two weeks.
CLASS DATES
January 24th - Learning the Controls to Capture the Moment 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Special moments throughout the day happen quickly. This class will teach you the basic functions of your camera so you don't miss a smile or the wag of a tail. ISO, white balance, metering modes, camera modes and lens choice are just a few of the topics that will be covered.
February 28th - Creative Camera Techniques for Photographing Your Family and Pets 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Want to photograph your dog running across the yard? Want to photograph your child so the background is "blurry"? In this class you will learn how to create these images plus more by taking your camera off manual to mode to explore working with shutter and aperture priority.
The first part of class will focus on how the ISO, aperture and shutter work together. From there we look at creative ways to apply these three elements of photography.
March 21st - Photographing Your Loved Ones in Their Best Light 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Use the available light you have in your home and outdoors to create images you will treasure forever. You will learn how to scout out the best light in your home. Lisa will also cover the best times of day to photograph outdoors and how to work through the challenges that arise when photographing your pet or child outside.
April 11th - Creative Composition for Children and Pets 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Turn ordinary moments into extraordinary images using a variety of composition techniques. You will learn how to create impactful images that will have your friends and family loving your images on social media. You will have images that you will be proud to display throughout your home.
May 2nd - Storytelling Project 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. During this class, you will create a personal photography project that centers around your children, pets or both. Lisa will teach you how to create a simple storyboard, where to look for inspiration, how to plan and prepare for your sessions, how to create a photography schedule and how to present your project.
May 23rd - A Day in the Life of Your Child or Pet Project 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Are you detailed oriented? Then this is the class for you as we focus on the small details in the day of your child or pet. You will learn how to plan your day of photography, details to look for, lighting, angles, composition and the final presentation of your project.
