Your Portrait Session
We lovingly welcome you and your pet to Francescon Portraiture. I cannot wait to capture the personality of your pet and the love that you have for him or her.
Before your session, we will have a consultation to plan your custom session. We will discuss location, themes, props and choose your backdrops. We will also discuss the art pieces that I can create for you to display in your home. The consultation can be done over the phone or in person. If you wish, you may bring your pet to the studio for a meet and greet before our session date.
"Paws for the Cause" sessions do have specific themes and your artwork will be geared towards the theme.
Please allow 1 - 1 1/2 hours for your portrait session.
When you first arrive at your session, your pet will have a chance to check out the studio and I will do a slow introduction with a little playtime. I always have lots of treats and toys; but if you have specific toys you want to include in your portraits, feel free to bring them along.
One of the most frequently asked questions that I receive is, "What if my pet won't sit still?"
"No problem". I have a few tricks to help keep the attention of your pet and will guide you through them as needed during the session. I will also share what I do during your consultation.
Approximately one week after your session, you will return to the studio for a complimentary snack and to view your images. I will finish the retouching one or two images so you can see what the final art pieces will look like. I will also assist you in selecting the images for your final art pieces.
I look forward to working with you and creating heirlooms that you will always treasure.
